Warsaw It is the capital of Poland and is, without a doubt, one of the best Erasmus destinations. Even though Warsaw is the capital of Poland, this is still a fairly inexpensive city. To give you an idea, you can live comfortably in this city for about 700 euros/month, considering all expenses.

You should also know that in the capital is the University of Warsaw, the largest university and, in turn, one of the most prestigious in Poland. There is also the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and the Kozminski University.

Krakow

Krakow is one of the best cities to do Erasmus and therefore one of the best Erasmus destinations in Poland. It is a relatively small city, with about 700,000 inhabitants, so you can move around the city easily.

In addition, Krakow is home to some of the most prestigious universities in the country, such as Jagiellonian University.

In Krakow, there are many plans to do every day. Some of the plans that we propose you do in Krakow are: visit the salt mines, go to one of the "milk bars" that you will find in the city, walk along the Vistula river or party on Bracka street.

Poznan

Poznan is a city that could be considered a student city, so you will find many Erasmus, discounts and activities for students there.

It is also a relatively small city, so you can easily get around using the tram and city buses. If you do your Erasmus in Poznan, you will have to visit some of its most emblematic buildings and museums, such as the Poznan City Hall, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Royal Castle, or the Citadela Park.

It does not matter which musical style you prefer, since in Poznan you will find clubs and discos for all kinds of musical tastes. For example, if what you like is reggaeton, we recommend that you go to Cuba Libre. On the other hand, if you are more into techno, clubs like Projekt Lab or Tama cannot be missing from your list.

Wroclaw

Wroclaw (Wroclaw in Spanish) is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, but it is also one of the most popular cities since every year it receives hundreds of international students. It is also a city with a wide range of leisure activities: museums, street concerts, great nightlife... All this makes Wroclaw one of the best Erasmus destinations in Poland.

Another positive aspect of Wroclaw is that if you want to take advantage of your Erasmus to travel, from this city you can easily travel to other European cities such as Berlin, Prague or Dresden, but also the rest of Poland.

Gdansk

Gdansk is a port city located in the north of Poland, next to the Baltic Sea. This city was rebuilt after World War II. If you are a history lover, we recommend you visit the World War II Museum or Westerplatte, the place where the first battle of the war began. Other places that we recommend you visit during your Erasmus in Gdansk are St. Mary's Basilica, visiting Sopot and Gdynia and, of course, the historic centre of Gdansk.

In this city, there is the University of Gdansk and the Gdansk University of Technology, one of the most renowned universities in Poland.

Katowice

Katowice is a city whose greatest attraction is its student atmosphere. It's not a particularly pretty city, but I'm sure you'll end up growing fond of it. And it is that this city receives many international students every year (predominantly Spanish and Portuguese), so you will find many parties for students, particularly on Mariacka street.

Like Wroclaw, one of the most positive aspects of doing Erasmus in Katowice is that given Katowice's location, you can easily travel by train or Flixbus to other Polish cities such as Krakow, Opole or Wroclaw. But that is not all! Katowice is especially close to other European countries, such as the Czech Republic or Slovakia.
